Slowly, reality TV shows will act like a toxic cancer within the industry of focus. It happened with the food industry first: Every kid that saw Bobby Flay, Emerill, etc.... wanted to BAM their way into fame and success. No one told them that even if they went to culinary school, they would still have to start for $8 an hour chopping onions and tomatoes.
The other thing that is happening in fashion is something that took place in film not too long ago: The creative types and designers who once ran the business of fashion have been marginalized and replaced with number crunchers and business folk. The hope is that they can be more profit minded and have more success. Its counter intuitive sometimes...the decisions on a business that's product is the result of a creative process and they are ill-equipped to do so....hence the failure. They wont take responsibility for the decline in profit, they will blame the creative types and budgets will be cut, R & D will get slashed, junkets will be stopped, travel will be impeded. Fashion is not the industry where a company will do better in the end by tightening the noose or penny pinching.
So everyone wants to be a designer and a model now and its life, Its metamorphosis and there isn't anything one can do to change it....or is there? Perhaps now is the time for true, hard core innovation and street level marketing with guerrilla style marketing and exposure tactics? And by the way, street level these days means, Facebook, Twitter and any other social media avenue that can be navigated and mapped for business and "buzz"

Big purses are going to continue to get more popular. I would say over-sized accessories.

Well good for you standing out of the "dude" crowd! I am not making fun of u 4 wearing a skirt. All you do is wear it with sneakers. (you may want to shave your legs) If anyone makes fun of you, ignore them. They are just immature jerks!!! Pleated skirts go with anything you want them to go with.

Well.. I've never seen boys wear skirts, but I'd say, if you can see your butt when you bend over, it's too short. Actually, you should keep it at knee length. Or some short shorts, instead. That would be better than skirts. Maybe you'll start a trend, though, and every guy everywhere will start wearing skirts. Good luck.

you should probably look into kilt type skirts, like scottish men wear. I mean you don't have to go all traditional but you should look at more masculine prints (i.e. no flowers!) and no mini skirts please!
I commend you for your bold fashion choice, but I am certain you will get a lot of flack. You might want to try short shorts. I know it sounds kinda silly, but they are actually becoming more and more popular. They come in many different styles and fabrics, and are more socially accepted than a skirt. American Apparel carries great ones (my boyfriend wears them during the summer!)
try a couple of these: http://store.americanapparel.net/rsacd40…
these arent as short:http://store.americanapparel.net/rsacd40…
As far as what to wear with them, I would say a basic t shirt. Black and white go with every color!

Why not? After all women wear trousers:) kilts like john paul gautier type need to be worn low slung hip not too low and choose a block colour like black or navy. Or a retro 80s nu rave pattern. Remember... Plain top with bright bottom! And reverse. Keep your legs hairy, dont wear tights - hair thru tights looks like a bag of coconuts fighting to get out! Wear close fitting underpants so if the wind blows you are a protected and b dont get arrested for a certain item:) showing. I would also try a cute mini skirt in red its very sexy with black ballet pumps or cone heel shoes. keep top half to a vest. Even if you are not serious:)

well winter is a tricky one bacause we have all these exiting trends but it's really cold. what do you do? layer. layering is still big but the way you do it has changed, layer bold coloured camis underneath grey/black jumpers and wear and bold coloured waistbelt. my personal opinion do not wear uggs, yes they're comfy but they kill an outfit. instead opt for fab ankle boots, make it in this season's hottest colour-black. if you want to be super on trend make them patent and get a bag to match. ankle boots are so versatile, tuck skinny jeans into them or wear with coloured/patterned tights and skirts/shorts. another super hot item this winter is the leather bomber. and don't foregt a cute beanie!
Phew, hope that helped :D
